On tap for Friday

Division play is over in the Southern Connecticut Conference, but there are some interesting interdivision matchups.
Notre Dame plays Career at Wilbur Cross. Notre Dame won the last matchup in overtime at home, but now must try to do so again without power forward Quenten Howard, who is out for the season with a foot injury.
Speaking of Cross, the Govs head up to Middletown to face Xavier. Hamden tries get some revenge on Branford at home after the Hornets beat the Green Dragons the first time around. Also, North Haven plays at Fairfield Prep.

One notable game in the Shoreline Conference has Hyde travelling to Deep River to face Valley Regional, which has won 10 straight games. This is the toughest remaining regular-season test for undefeated Hyde, the No. 4 team in the Register Top 10 poll.

Hillhouse coach goes off

Hillhouse coach Kermit Carolina did not back off his comments about the injustice he felt from the IAABO Board VI officiating crew during Hillhouse's 64-58 win at Xavier Friday night.

After making some heated comments to WFSB-3 immediately following the game, Carolina had more to sau to the Register. If you did not see the article in Sunday's print edition or online, here is a link to the story.
