Kuran Iverson has given a verbal committment to Memphis to play college basketball, according to various national media outlets, including ESPN.

Iverson was a two-time Register All-State selection as a sophomore and junior at Northwest Catholic, leading the Indians to back-to-back Class L state finals. Iverson, a Windsor native, transferred to Fishburne (Va.) Military School to complete his senior high school season.

Memphis will leaving Conference USA for the Big East after this season.
