The New Haven Athletic Center is the setting for tonight's showdown between a pair of undefeated Shoreline Conference teams, Hyde and Cromwell. Game time is 7:30 p.m., following the Hillhouse-Career girls game.

DeShawn Murphy and Kendell Groom lead the Howling Wolves (13-0), the No. 5 team in the latest Register poll. They will try to quicken the pace at every opportunity and go as many as 10 deep to try and wear down the Panthers (13-0), who are led by Isaiah Salafia, who is heading to Yale next season.

Cromwell won three of the four matchups last season, including both the Shoreline and Class S state tournament finals.

Now Hyde is the favorite. It should be interesting.
