Career swarms Hornets

Career forced Branford into 4 of 21 from the floor in the first half to take a 13-point lead (24-11) at halftime. Career went onto to win at Branford 50-35 to remain tied with Wilbur Cross atop the SCC Oronoque.

Notre Dame clinched a tie for the SCC Quinnipiac Division crown by beating Hamden and can clinch it outright next Friday by beating Fairfield Prep.

Sheehan now has a two-game lead in the SCC Housatonic after Shelton upset Lyman Hall.

The SCC Hammonasset is not even worth discussing - except for Jengodji Gates' school-recored 13 three-point shots to help Hillhouse paste Law and clinch a tie for the division crown.
Hyde and Cromwell both won Friday night and will both be undefeated going into Wednesday's matchup at the New Haven Athletic Center.

In other action, EO Smith upset Bloomfield and East Hartford edged Windsor.
