New Haven Tap-Off Club Hall of Fame inductees
The New Haven Tap-Off Club will induct seven people into its Hall of Fame on
Nov. 13 at Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven.
The inductees are: Nick Augelli, longtime Crosby boys’ basketball coach currently fourth on the state’s all-time wins list with 559; Kara Crismale Burgarella, former all-state player at Guilford and standout college player at Colgate; Eva Esposito, ex-All-Stater at Branford who also played at the University of Hartford, and the current girls’ volleyball coach at Branford; Howard Hewitt, longtime boys’ basketball coach at Maloney; Maria Holland, former all-state selection at Hillhouse and standout at Quinnipiac University; Tom Raucci, longtime basketball official on IAABO Board #10; and Carolyn Vanacore, Professor Emeritus at Southern Connecticut State University, who has mentored many young women in athletics.
The dinner begins at 7 p.m. For tickets, email Bob Antonio at bantnhtoc@att.net, or call Lee Franzman at (203) 874-2810, after 5:30 p.m.. Tickets are $45.
