Newtown wins on buzzer-beater

Newtown has been in the news constantly over the past two months following the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Tuesday night, the Newtown basketball team made national news  for a positive reason. The Nighthawks' buzzer-beating three-point shot courtesy of Mike Daubert not only beat New Milford, but also allowed Newtown to qualify for the Class LL state tournament.

It also made the No. 1 play in ESPN's Sportscenter Top 10 for Tuesday. Here it is:
