UNH clinic Sunday
The University of New Haven men's basketball team will be hosting a coaches clinic featuring Boston Celtics assistant coach Mike Longabardi, a member of the 2007-08 NBA Champions, on Sunday at Charger Gymnasium.
Longabardi begins his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Celtics. He was previously with the Houston Rockets for four seasons as an assistant coach/video coordinator and before that served as an assistant coach for the men's basketball teams at Pfeiffer University, Adelphi University, Lafayette College and Towson University.
Longabardi will conclude the clinic with a session on defensive fundmentals and drills starting at 11:30 a.m.
The clinic costs $45 and will also feature a clinic from New Haven head coach Ted Hotaling on the fundamentals of the two-guard offense.
