Kendell Groom, who led Hyde to state championships in both football and basketball this season, has signed to play basketball at Sacramento State.

Groom, a 6-3 point guard, led the Howling Wolves to a 27-0 record and the Class S state championship this past season. He was a two-time member of the Register's All-Area team and a second team Register All-State selection.
